About ME

Hi! My name is Maya Richmond and I am an actor based in Atlanta, GA. I am currently attending Savannah College of Art and Design – Atlanta (SCAD) to complete my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a projected graduation in 2027. Prior to attending SCAD, I have attended classes at numerous Acting Schools and Workshops focusing on a range of topics such as the Meisner Technique, Improvisation, Script Analysis, Self-Tape, Commercials, and On Camera Acting. I can see myself being cast for roles in procedurals such as legal, medical, and police shows and in military themed roles. My dream role is to be cast in a Marvel movie! 

I was born and raised in New York, and after serving on Active Duty in the US Army, I made the move to Atlanta, GA to pursue my passion for acting. In my spare time, I love to play with my dog, travel, and go on cruises! Like, a lot of cruises!! Being from New York, I love to visit different places to learn about different people and cultures. 

Some of my other passions include my dog, real estate, archery, cycling, and home improvement projects. I can get lost for hours looking at houses on the well-known home search sites and I love planning and completing home improvement projects around my home.
