About ME

Hi! I’m Maya Richmond, an Atlanta-based actor currently pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) – Atlanta, with an anticipated graduation in 2027.

Before fully committing to my acting career, I proudly served on Active Duty in the U.S. Army. That experience instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, resilience, and professionalism; qualities I carry with me into every role. One of my long-term goals is to be cast in a Marvel film and contribute to storytelling on that kind of epic, meaningful scale.

I was born and raised in New York, and growing up in such a diverse and vibrant environment gave me a deep and genuine appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and stories. I love to travel, especially cruising, and I’m always excited to explore new places and connect with new people.

Outside of acting, I enjoy spending time with my dog, along with exploring my interests in real estate and home improvement. I can happily spend hours envisioning renovation projects and bringing creative ideas to life in my own space. I also enjoy archery and cycling, activities that challenge my focus and endurance in ways that mirror the discipline and commitment acting requires.

Above all, I am committed to growth, authenticity, and collaboration. I’m excited to continue learning, creating, and bringing heart, dedication, and professionalism to every project I’m fortunate to be part of.
